I feel your obsession Dawg!!! I had a 91 hatch SI, and had a lot fun... till cops impounded me too many times for fix it Tickets and I never learned.. It was a lot of $$$ to take it out so I gave it up.. It had everything, Except the Lambos and turbo.. Oh well, good times I guess, BUT now I have this 4-Door Black,,, and continued my Red & Black Theme. I think this one is a lot more fun..... But the hatches are always fun. I like what you've done to your Hatch,, I bet your car owes it to you, giving the fact that it was almost going to the Junk Yard huh?? The key I guess is Passion and Dedication to make it all turn out Nice!! Keep up your good work. Pops and Girlfriend will never understand the Obsession!! My people here look at me when I'm in the garage and say "Now what the hell are you doing" Lol >>>Later<<<

Date: 01/12/2006
hell buddy all i said was its not my style its to far off of what i like i didnt go dissing your whole car like you just did to mine, hell im 17 years old and am still paying off alot of stuff so i cant afford to go out and spent every cent on my car like your most likeley do, if you could read it says clearly that im NOT! droping a h22a in my car and for the mismatched colour? YEH! aparently my car got broken into, funny that huh? and hmm lets see i just put it on the same day i took the photos so hmm yeh i wish i was like you buddy and go out straight away and paint it and get all the bits and peaices, hell i wish i was like you and could drop a b16a in it but i have one problem, mines a genuine SiR, but i gotta admit with the red paintjob with the black front and back bumper is well done, does it make it go faster???must be very fast with those erodiamic Lambo doors and those rims yeh there black and light weight but like i said, there not my style, HEY! i have a idea lets go with the cheap way to turbo your civic, lets put a microphone is your car and when you change gears your buddy can hang out the passanger window and hell out "blow off valvue" that would bepritty cool! hey man alot of people out there would prefer a genuine SiR than some that has just droped a b16a in there civic.

I was reading down to IronMaN's comments to you, I'm under the impression he lives in Ontario Canada, but don't quote me on that (I know that's a WAY old comment).<

Anywho, I like your EF. It's very clean and tasetful I feel. I know I've seen your car around in So. Cali before, but the guy and car I'm thinking of has had his for several years now, so it can't be the same one. Keep up the good work bro and good luck!

Hey bro thanks for commenting my CRX yea i had mine just like your with all the red inside ( my car was red to start with lol) but now im getting everything back to stock inside..maybe out .. i might put my stock tail lights in back and my old 15in Proline racing rims, now its like im scarred to go too far with my rims now, also i think im gunna throw a new gauge cluster in there from Germany with the 180mph on it and less miles thanks, take care

Hey, well I have another question for ya, are dropzone struts good??? I'm saving money to buy struts and my lip kit so I can get everything done at once, so in about a month I should have updated pics, and tires i need two front tires, i hate riding on those steel rims!!!! Later and Thanks!!!!

My friends and i did the swap. However wiring was a bitch. If you can obtain another engine wiring harness, you can send it to rywire for the conversion (www.rywire.com). I got my motor from a local shop so I didn't have to pay for shipping, but I'll recommned www.hmotorsonline.com and look for Steve.

And I also wanted to ask you if you would sell your side moldings? TTYL!! go team red.... LoL.

Hey, no updates yet, i had to sell my air setup because my rims were to wide to really work, so i just order my lowering springs, and should be here in a few days then i'll add more pics... I'll let you know when i update.. Later

Well he baffles me again.Read my post again......do I say you disrespect tuner mags?I dont see it,....does anyone else?Do some research on the true definition of tuning.Even Super Street staff will tell you theyre rag isnt meant for tuning. Its merely a periodical for enthusiast, product info, event coverage. You can not tune your ride from a magazine.Once you get a car,...(I assume you dont have one because you didnt reply to my question),....you will understand. The only way to truly tune a car is to throw it on a dyno, factor in atmospheric conditions(like air density, temps, octane, and relative elevation in relation to sea level if applicable), and driver abilities.Good luck on your exams.Maybe I'll see you at Pomona, Del Mar HIN, Irwindale,or one of the many other events in SoCal.You should try to attend as many events as possible. They are full of enthusiasts who are willing to share knowledge.

Posted By: IronMaN
Date: 06/16/2005
"Also,..no where in my post do I disrespect tuner mags". so now you're going against what you said, cuz now you're saying that super street isn't good enough to be a tuning guide; that their tech articles are pretty useless to tuners. and no you won't be seeing me at Infineon because i am a high school student and i live in ontario. my exams start next week so don't expect me to show up. =1

Posted By: prostyle
Date: 06/13/2005
well here we go again with the juvenile with petty inquisitions.Your ignorance is apparent with your casualness in regard to the placement of 10-20 lb object.Also,....as I mentioned before......the reason I did not ignore your J-spec comment is because it was not an opinion. You were basing your "opinion" on "facts" that you assumingly thought were true. When in all actuallity, you dont seem to have a clue. Also I will continue to ridicule people who use Super Street as a "tuning guide", for the mere fact that you obviously do not understand the true meaning of tuning in the import industry. As for your question about my ethnic origin, my name is what it is because thats what my parents named me.Please dont start bickering about that now.Try to keep it cars and stop the bickering. So will I be seeing you at Infineon?...and do you own a car?

Posted By: IronMaN
Date: 06/09/2005
okay, thanks for finally answering the question. even though i don't see what a 10-20lbs. battery can really do to equilibriate weight, but you say that you're willing to help and that you accept all opinions. so why did you not simply ignore my comment about your "j-spec" style and answer the battery question? instead you started insulting me, and then people who read super street as a tuning guide. if you were true to your word of accepting and respecting my comments you wouldn't have countered my comment with insults.
and just a question (i'm an asian myself, ryan su is my name if you're wondering) ; i'm wondering why your name is kato newman if you say you're asian? please don't tell me you're pretending. cuz that would be..low. =/

Posted By: prostyle
Date: 06/04/2005
Well,..here we go again.I retract my earlier comments about IronMaN being a girl.Turns out its a little boy,.......who cant read.Does anyone else see the part of my profile where it says "JGTC and all other forms of racing"..?Yet,..at least his last post explains the ignorance.Also,..no where in my post do I disrespect tuner mags, ricers, or women. You are the one being derogatory. If you have a personal opinion about my ride then fantastic. But you cant pass judgement and try to put factual basis behind it when you are ignorant to the fact in the first place...(ignorant being used technically, not condescending)!Im an Asian male that has been doing this since you were in elementary school. If you have a legitamate question about import performance, many if not all of us, would be glad to help. Now you can continue to try to engage in a verbal battle with me and try to surpass my knowledge, this will get you no where.By the way,....battery placement in the rear on my FF is to aid in the elimination of unwanted weight in the front which is a factor in understeer, also a hot battery will take tolls on general performance numbers.Extra weight in the rear also assist me in getting the rear to break loose when needed.Alot of individuals like weight in the front to help remedy wheel hop or other losses of traction. For me ,...I do not have this problem.I hope this clears things up, and lets see how you reply.Like previously stated,...I accept all opinions good and bad.If its your personal prefference to not like my ride then I respect it,...But do not try to allegate that I have done something "wrong" when you do not have the knowledge. If you plan on being part of the sport with this attitude then good luck!I dont see your car on here,..or know your experince in the sport, but I can prove mine to you if your in the area.....Infineon Raceway on July 9th would be a good start.I hope this clears things up.I'll be anticipating your reply......Thanks

first off, way to be sexist and try to make fun of me calling me female. i'm a 16 year old boy; and not a 30+ year old guy like you. and i don't see the whole profile thing with the "JGTC and 'other forms of racing'". you're the typical caucasian male who gets hyped about drift and other japanese races who tries to learn japanese and uses domestic import magazines for information. and you're judging my knowledge of cars when i ask why you would move the battery to the back? i don't see why the admins didn't ask you to rewrite your reply as something tasteful rather than putting down tuner mags, 'ricers', and not to mention the female sex.

Posted By: prostyle
Date: 06/02/2005
Well everyone,....we've got us a real winner on my board now!!!Look two comments down, to the chik named IronMan.Shes the type of gal that only reads what they they can while reading her latest subscription to "Mullet Monthly".If you look at profile it plainly states.....JGTC and "other forms of racing".In the midst of my decade of import customizing and racing,...I've seen many cars with "Kanji" writing on the vehicle....and More than one competitor with vertical doors. This is obviously an individual who reads Super Street as a tuning guide, and wants a chrome header for her new turbo rotary Honda GT-R.We see this often and always will. Her ignorance can be explained by reading the last statement of her comment in regards to battery placement.Let us all bow our heads and pray for her poor soul and pray to God that she never trades in her Neon Expresso with the single wiper conversion for that turbocharged rotary honda with the header and cutoff "shortshifter".

nice interior. im thinking of doing something like that to my car. did u get some kit? or did u just go to a apolstery shop?

Posted By: IronMaN
Date: 05/30/2005
that just looks stupid. now you say you're "going J-Spec", but when's the last time you've seen vertical doors and a japanese word graphic on the side of a JGTC car? the last time i've seen a japanese word on a japanese vehicle is on a suzuki hayabusa lol. and would you care to explain to me what locating the battery does for the car?

Well my car has about 190k miles but still going strong... Its never been on the bottle and i keep up with regular maintenance... but i have a major oil leak that i need to get fixed.. between the motor and tranny... The air system that i bought is used.. got it for cheap... all i need is brackets, i think... I have the cylinders, all the line, valves, compresser, tank, switch box.... and i want to buy accumulators, so it rides good...

Posted By: hondacivicluv
Date: 05/23/2005
Well i just bought a air cylinder set up... now just to get it installed... theres not many places around here that does that kind of thing.... I dont think my motor could handle a turbo... too many miles so i'm just waiting for it to blow so i can buy a new motor... I want a basic looking car... to many hondas out there.. you will always find one better than yours... I'm going for a little show and alot of go.. i'll keep you posted... Later

Thanks for checkin out my ride! Your ride is pretty nice too. I like the lambo doors on that. Yeah I thought about just boosting the b16a2 instead of the b18c1 but now I may just do my own set up like a b16a2 head on a b18c1 block and try to find a b18c5 tranny. and boost that. I heard that type R tranny is no joke.
